As Evolution suggests, proteins of simmilar species are more alike than those of distantly related species. Therefore,
if we were to look at a protein in a catfish, it would look a lot like the protein in a bass, as opposed to a protein in a
human or other such creatures. Through protein comparison, we are able to infer that greater simmiliarities are shown between
high order organisms than between higher order and lower order. With nueleic acid comparison, and by reviewing neutral mutations
between base sequences, or amino acid sequences, we can plot a series of points at which divergences occurred.
